Gallic acid, chemical name of 3,4, 5-trihydroxybenzoic acid, molecular formula C7H8O6, is a kind of polyphenolic organic compound, widely exists in palmatum rhubarb, eucalyptus macrophylla, cornus officinalis and other plants, has a wide range of applications in food, biology, medicine, chemical industry and other fields.

(2)It is a processing agent in casting and lithographic printing.
